Do I need to be an “advanced” yogi to take this training?
Not at all! Although we recommend that you’ve been practicing for at least a year, your level of practice is not a factor.S
What does the training schedule look like?
Training will take place two weekends/month and will typically be Friday evenings for 3 hours and Saturdays and Sundays for 5 hours each.
Do I need to pay my tuition in full before the training?
No! We can split your tuition into equal monthly payments over the length of the course. You can, however, receive a $400 discount should you choose to pay in full prior to the start date.
How is this different from a traditional retreat?
While we will practice together and enjoy the retreat setting, Summer Sangha is centered around study and inquiry. This is not an escape-focused getaway. It’s an opportunity to explore yoga philosophy in a grounded, applicable way and to consider how the teachings can support your everyday life.
Will I receive a certification upon completion?
Yes! Old Town Yoga is registered through Yoga Alliance and upon completion of your training you will receive a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate.
