GENTLE BEGINNER - Heat: None
Our most basic class offered is a mild and slower paced class with gentle movement, transitions, and stretching. Perfect for new students or those looking for an approachable style of yoga.
BEGINNER - Heat: 75°-77°
Introduction to Vinyasa flowing (continuous movement) with a lower intensity. Great for students looking for mild, consistent movement and a thorough stretching sequence.
LEVEL 1 - Heat: 77°-79°
Combination class of Power Yoga (longer holds) and Vinyasa flowing (continuous movement). Includes smooth transitions of postures and a complete stretching sequence, all while focusing on the breath. Options for modifications are always included.
LEVEL 2 - Heat: 79°-83°
A higher intensity Power Vinyasa class aimed at strengthening and lengthening. Opportunities for more advanced postures will be available, as well as modifications to make them accessible to all. This class will git ya drenched!
YIN - Heat: 76°-79°
Deep stretching poses held for 2-3 minutes each. There is no flowing or strength poses, but may be the most mentally challenging class offered. Main focus is to stretch beyond muscle tissue and into connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, fascia, etc.) Breathing and stillness are emphasized.
POWER & YIN - Heat: 79°-83°
The class will be 90 minutes with the first half being a high intensity flow. The second half will be a sweet yin sequence to help you completely relax. The perfect way to end your week!
CHAIR YOGA - Heat: None
This class is designed for students with mobility challenges due to age or injury. If the thought of getting up and down off the ground makes you cringe, this class is for you. All the benefits of yoga, but much more accessible than a traditional class. Many traditional postures and sun salutations will be explored with the support of a chair and a loving instructor.
YOGA SCULPT - Heat: None
When muscle meets yoga, yoga sculpt is born. Boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass as you move to upbeat tracks. Your combine free weights with core power yoga sequencing and poses to intensify each yoga pose well mixing in strength training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls. Challenging, but not impossible, and many levels welcome. Bring your yoga mat, two handweights (2 lbs to 8 lbs) and your water bottle.
RESTORATIVE - Heat: None
This class focuses on poses that promote relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress, including weakness and fatigue brought on by our daily fast paced activities. Using a series of gentle, supported poses held for a long time (including the use of many props) to promote relaxation. This class is appropriate for all levels.
RESTORE AND MEDITATE - Heat: None
Join us for this deeply beneficial and soothing practice where fully supported Yoga postures guide you into relaxation. Class includes meditation to quiet the mind, Restorative Yoga, and a generous Savasana. Our guided meditation will introduce practices from many traditions which may include: mindfulness, guided imagery, focused attention, mantra, walking, etc. Everyone from beginning meditators to regular practitioners will benefit. In restorative yoga, props and hand-on adjustments are used to offer support, allowing you to gently open your body through passive stretching. Postures are therapeutic in nature, designed to fully release tension.
ASHTANGA BASICS - Heat: 77°-80°
The Ashtanga Basics class covers the majority of the Primary Series postures. Alignment, breath and focus are heavily emphasized in this structured Vinyasa practice. This class is appropriate for students new to the practice, as well as regular Ashtanga students who wish to practice at a slower pace with more focus on details.
